Where are the Pyrenees?
Rising to 3400 meters elevation, Pyrenees form a massive physical border between France and Spain, running over 400 km from the Mediterranean Sea to the Bay of Biscay in the Atlantic Ocean and having a maximum width of 150 km in the central sector. The tiny principality of Andorra is sandwiched between the 2 countries in the Eastern part of the range.
Where do we hike?
Our trips allow you to enjoy hikes and explore various parts of the Pyrenees. The majority are in the Central Pyrenees where all the biggest mountains are located, in the Spanish provinces of Huesca (Aragón) and Lleida (Catalonia) and in the French regions of Bearn (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) and Bigorre (Haute-Pyrénées). We also offer hikes in the Costa Brava area of Catalonia on the Mediterranean coast and in the Basque Country of both France and Spain. In the map below you can see a rough location of some of the areas we visit.
